Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced important improvements regarding its flights to the United Kingdom and Europe, providing good news for travelers amid continuous aviation sector uncertainty. PIA is scheduled to restart its flights to Paris next month and to the UK on August 14. It is worth noticing that direct flights from Pakistan to the UK were terminated in 2020.
Furthermore, the airline stated that, in preparation for the flying restart, it is accelerating maintenance on its 777 fleet. PIA now flies seven 777 jets, with two more slated to be operational within the next two months,according to Hafeez.
Meanwhile, a the airline general manager stated that with nine 777 aircraft in service, the airline will greatly improve its flying operations in Europe. Hafeez further said that Pakistan presently has air service agreements with 97 nations.
