Annual loss of PRs 60 billion due to corruption in Pakistan

In the meeting of the All Pakistan Chambers Presidents’ Conference, the Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs talked about monetary affairs and the tax bill.

According to the minister, Pakistan loses almost Rs 6,000 billion every year due to corruption. A large amount of the corrupted money is drawn back by the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). He added that businessmen are also involved in corruption.

Ahsan Iqbal, Minister for Planning, addressed his views that, to tackle the financial crises, Pakistan has to increase exports to $100 billion. In addition to that, Pakistan needs political stability for progress in the country.
